5 items I`m bringing with me to Europe this summer
Ever since I was a kid, I`d always longing to go on a trip to Europe but I was not born into a rich family and my parents are not a fan of western`s culture. And, now finally, I am able to afford a trip to Europe (barely!) by myself!
Before my trip to Europe, I was bombarded by my friends to take more precautious measure against pickpocket. To make matters worse, I even heard a lot of horrifying stories and saw lots of videos on this - one particular incident was a parent and a teenage son who were robbed in board daylight at Milan, he got his phone snatched even with the phone`s lanyard around his neck. All their money were gone, including passports...
The whole incident prompted me to search frantically on online stores on anti-theft items and these are what I found!

Vacuum Compression Travel Backpack (Anti-Theft)
Chanced upon this bag when it was in flash sales and was looking to get a birthday`s gift for my friend. The best thing about this bag that it looks good to be a daily carry-on bag and a carry-on baggage on flight - it also has TSA lock and it comes with a vacuum device to push out excessive air to put more stuffs. However, the only bad thing this bag that it is already weight 3kg without any items in it.
Speaking of bag, the next item is definitely a need!

Smart tag tracker for android
I can`t imagine going to overseas without having this tracker in my baggage anymore - this tracker is really affordable and works well, I have brought it to trips and it works even though it is almost half a price of a regular tracker from Samsung. Furthermore, it is 100% compatible with Samsung ` Smart thing ` (Samsung very own platform to control smart home devices). To be very honest, I really can `t find a bad thing to say about this tracker.... I mean it works as intended and it is cheap, maybe the only downside is fast draining on a battery. Hence, have to bring some back-up small round batteries with you.

Portable bag cover (Waterproof)
Next item is a good indicator on how paranoid I am, having brought an anti-theft is not enough - I even went an extra miles to get waterproof cover for my anti-theft bag because an extra layer of protection would be essential to hide zips and compartments, this would deter any attempts if the thief could not even see any openings.

Phone lanyard (wrist)
So the next on my list is a phone lanyard, after hearing the horror story of how neck lanyard can easily be stolen - I`ve decided to opt for wrist lanyard instead. I feel that this is much more secure than lanyard around your neck as it is harder to pull shorter lanyard and thief would have a hard time finding any openings.

Hidden Lens detector
As this will be a solo trip, I have decided to get a hidden lens detector for my room - it also has an alarm system for any possible intrusion to the room (Just by hanging around the doorknob), so any movements on the door handle would prompt the device to alert you when you are in the room.
Final Verdict
Hopefully, with the items above at my disposal, I could survive my trip with my phone and wallet in one piece!
